11 Take an art class

Tucked away in a little nook off Highway 42 just over a mile east of Coquille is a haven for artists.

The Coquille Valley Art Center offers classes throughout the year on wood carving, pottery and different types of painting. In addition to all the classes, the upstairs portion of the center includes a gallery of local artwork that is open to the public.
