46 Take in the sounds of theatre

Take in the sounds of theatre Head to the Sprague Community Theater in Bandon's City Park. From Bandon Playhouse productions, the August offering will be œThe Pirates of Penzance." Actors will be on stage Aug. 15-17, 22-24 and 29-31. Friday performance will be at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday shows at 2 p.m. Tickets usually are available at the door, 1202 11th St. S.W., Bandon Merchantile, Winter River Books and True Value Hardware.

In addition, children's theater shows are produced at the theater by New Artists Productions.

That's not all. The Sprague almost always has something going on. There frequently are elaborate productions by the local dance studio or high school Swing Choir.
