5 Catch cats napping

Lions, tigers and bears! That' not all.West Coast Game Park Safari south of Bandon is the type of attraction that one wouldn't expect on the Oregon Coast. Yet, it's been attracting thousands of visitors yearly since its establishment in 1968.

The walk-through park offers a chance to get up close and personal to wild bear, cougar, tiger and fox cubs that are born at the facility. Also interesting are the park's usual residents of adult llamas, elk, goats, camels, lions, bears, monkeys and more, many of them rescued animals unable to live in the wild. Many species of animals roam free throughout the park.
The park is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the end of November.
