For card players who live for bridge and other games, there are plenty of opportunities in the Bay Area.

Among the many venues, there are bridge classes at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 400 Highland Ave., in Coos Bay, tournaments at City Subs, 149 N. Fourth St., in Coos Bay and at the North Bend Senior Activity Center, 1470 Airport Lane, North Bend.

The North Bend tournaments start at 12:30 p.m. on Mondays, the classes at the church start at 6:30 p.m. on Mondays and the City Subs tournaments start at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays.

Pinochle players gather at 1 p.m., Mondays and 1 p.m. Thursdays at the Bay Area Senior Center, on the corner of Fourth Street and Ingersoll Avenue, in Coos Bay.
