54 Swim under the sun in Mingus Park Pool

Ocean water a little too chilly? Take a stroll through Coos Bay's much-loved Mingus Park and then a dip in the Mingus Park Pool. Located in the shadows of Coos Bay's urban forest, the pool is open for early risers, midday swimmers and afternoon laps. Children are invited, too. The pool is just off North 10 Street on the edge of the park. For schedule information, those interested can call 267-1360.
