98 Cheer for the cowboys

The Coos County Fair & Rodeo takes place July 22-26. After visiting the 4-H and animal exhibits, and after all the rides on the Midway AND after filling up on fair food, chill out at an evening rodeo in Myrtle Point.

The Coos County Rodeo will be held in the evenings on Friday and Saturday, July 25-26. The night starts off with kids' mutton bustin', calf and steer-riding events before the Northwest Professional Rodeo Association-sanctioned event kicks into high gear. Cowboys and cowgirls from all over the Northwest will compete in barrel racing, steer wrestling, bull riding, bareback and saddle bronc riding and more.
