89 Swim at your own risk

Tugman State Park near Lakeside includes a day worth of activities for families willing to cool their feet after a scenic hike. The park features Eel Lake, which has a small swimming area (with no lifeguard) as well as a fishing dock and a pair of trails that go around much of the lake. Bring a boat, canoe or kayak to get farther out on the water. Visitors will find a large picnic area, and if they want to stay longer, a campground with spots for trailers or tents or rustic yurts for those who want a more indoor feel.
